Great atmosphere with some brilliant events! Nice staff and there is even a cocktail bar with a good variety of drinks - what's not to love!!

Being a wife and mum I don't get the chance to go out much, however 4 of us planned a night out in Hastings and thought we would go to the brass monkey! I was disappointed the bouncer on the door told my husband to go sober up before we was allowed in! As we had just eaten a meal, we argued the point he was fine but was still refused entry. Maybe the bouncer had a issue with my husband or thought that 34-40 was to old, however we never had any issues getting in anywhere else in Hastings which had far more mature bouncers! I used to go to this place a lot in my 20's however when you have guys like that on the door clearly younger and full of himself it puts you off! His attitude stinks and the brass monkey lost a lot of money out of us thanks to him! Clearly his ego needed a boost by turning us away! Total idiot
